Young at Art is excited to be recruiting casual Festival Event and Box Office staff for Belfast Children’s Festival 2024 running from 7 to 16 March 2024. Each year, our casual festival team play a key role in the successful delivery of events while gaining valuable experience and enjoying the friendly, family atmosphere and great performances and activities of the festival.
Our casual festival team are involved in a range of roles such as Venue Welcome Hosts, Workshop Facilitators, Rave Captains at our sell-out Baby Raves and manning temporary box offices. Casual shifts are offered throughout the festival period and will include evenings and weekends. The largest number of shifts will be for our Festival Family Day, to be held on Saturday 16 March 2024, when we will offer a wide of range of free arts and creative activities throughout Belfast’s Cathedral Quarter.
Safeguarding and other training will be provided on the evening of Monday 12 February 2024. Successful candidates will need to attend. This will be paid.
Many of our casual festival team go on to support our programmes and activities throughout the year.
