The Begin Together Arts Fund!

Young at Art is delighted to announce that we are a recipient of Bank of Ireland’s Begin Together Arts Fund!

The Begin Together Arts Fund, in partnership with Business to Arts, will distribute a total of €1 million in arts funding between 2020 and 2022 across the island of Ireland. Our upcoming Education and Engagement project in partnership with artist Duncan Ross, is one of 39 arts projects across music, theatre, dance, traditional arts, visual arts, film, craft, street theatre and circus performance to be funded in 2021 and 2022.

Using child-led creative techniques developed in his participatory and socially-engaged practice, Duncan Ross will have a creative conversation with schoolchildren to create artworks for a hybrid exhibition, with an online component for digital audiences that inter-relates to a physical installation at the Belfast Children’s Festival 2022. Watch this space!
