Inclusivity at BCF25: Relaxed Performance Packs

Belfast Children’s Festival 2025 features performances especially created for neurodivergent audiences and young people with additional needs including  “Beyond Universe” an adaptation of the show “Univers’, a sensory experience based on visual imagery, live music and movement; and a special adaptation of “Moonlight Dream” for Special Schools. “Mini Moon” in the Black Box is a club specifically for children from the disabled and neurodiverse community who like to party and have a good time!

There will be a relaxed performances of “Sandscape”, “Fall and Float”, “CBeebies Musical Storyland” which is also BSL signed, and “The Velveteen Rabbit” with is also captioned and has BSL signed performances.

Below you will find our Relaxed Performance ‘Social Stories’ for certain BCF25 shows, which give you information on the venue and the show before you arrive, to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible for our audiences.
